What I collect and why

I collect analytics data only with your explicit consent. If you accept cookies, the following services may receive data about your visit:

• Google Analytics 4: page views, session duration, referral source. Data processed by Google LLC (US). Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Tag Manager: tag container that loads analytics scripts only after consent is given.
• PostHog: product analytics (page views, session events). Data processed by PostHog Inc. (US). Person profiles are only created for identified users (none on this site). Governed by the PostHog Privacy Policy.

Separately, if you choose to verify a Google Calendar booking, we use the email address you enter to send one requested verification code through Google Workspace and compare that address with the attendee on the matching Calendar event. The code expires after 10 minutes. The first-party verification service keeps a booking-confirmation receipt for up to 90 days, whether or not you accepted analytics cookies. We do not send your email, verification code, Calendar event details, or unique receipt HMACs to analytics. If you accepted analytics cookies, a verified booking can be sent to Google Analytics only when it can be linked to that original consented session within 24 hours. That event may include four low-cardinality booking-context fields: journey, offer key, CTA source key, and landing cohort key. Declining or withdrawing analytics consent does not prevent booking or optional booking verification; it prevents that analytics event.

If you decline cookies, analytics services do not load. Google Calendar and Google Workspace are used only when you choose to book or request booking verification.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data at any time. Applicable frameworks:

• California (CIPA / CCPA / CPRA): I obtain opt-in consent before any third-party data transmission. No sale of personal data.
• EU / UK (GDPR): lawful basis for analytics processing is consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Withdrawing consent

To change your cookie choice, clear your browser's local storage for ascendgtm.net (the key is ascend_consent) and reload the page. The consent banner will reappear.
